Job Summary:
The HSE Trainer is responsible for designing and delivering high-quality occupational health, safety, and environmental training programs in line with international standards and TÜV SÜD Academy guidelines. The role ensures effective transfer of knowledge, professional training delivery, continuous content improvement, and adherence to organizational values and compliance standards.
YOUR TASK:
1. Training Delivery
- Conduct instructor-led training sessions in classroom, virtual, or blended formats across a wide range of HSE topics.
- Deliver training in accordance with TÜV SÜD Academy standards, ensuring professional facilitation and learner engagement.
- Adapt training delivery to meet client-specific needs and industry requirements.
- Utilize interactive and creative learning methods such as case studies, group activities, and simulations to enhance participant engagement and learning outcomes.
- Ensure all sessions are conducted with a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and learner satisfaction.
2. Course Development and Improvement
- Develop and update training materials, lesson plans, and supporting documents to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Customize existing programs based on client requirements, emerging industry trends, and regulatory updates.
- Collaborate with the instructional design and operations team to maintain consistent quality across all training programs.
3. Quality and Continuous Improvement
- Collect and review participant feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of training delivery and materials.
- Participate in internal reviews and professional development programs to ensure up-to-date knowledge of standards and best practices.
4. Compliance and Documentation
- Maintain accurate and complete training records, attendance lists, and reports.
- Ensure all required documentation is submitted on time in accordance with Academy procedures.
- Comply with TÜV SÜD policies, guidelines, and the Code of Conduct.
- Complete all mandatory internal training and maintain awareness of TÜV SÜD values and standards.
5. Collaboration and Support
- Work closely with the Academy’s operations, product, and sales teams to support training planning and delivery.
- Represent TÜV SÜD professionally in all client interactions and training sessions.
- Promote the Academy’s services and values during sessions to strengthen brand awareness and client trust.
6. Professional Development
- Stay informed about evolving HSE standards, regulations, and industry trends.
- Engage in continuous professional learning to enhance subject matter expertise and training techniques.
Share best practices and innovative training methods with colleagues to foster a culture of learning and improvement.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Recognized HSE certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, OSHA, or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in ME region, with at least 2 years in training or instructional roles.
- Previous experience delivering HSE Training (preferably approved IOSH and NEBOSH trainer).
- Strong understanding of international HSE standards and local regulatory frameworks in ME region.
Experience in designing or customizing training content is an advantage.
