About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSEQ Officer to support our growing operations by ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards across multiple operational sites. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture, conducting inspections, managing risk assessments, delivering training, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and audits across operational sites to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Identify workplace hazards, perform risk assessments, and recommend effective control measures.
- Monitor and follow up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure of observations.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, perform root cause analysis, and prepare detailed reports.
- Develop and maintain HSEQ documentation, records, and reports.
- Conduct inductions, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs for employees and contractors.
- Monitor compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures where applicable.
- Support implementation and maintenance of HSEQ management systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring readiness for regulatory and certification requirements.
- Support emergency preparedness activities, including evacuation drills and fire safety programs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality requirements where applicable, including FSMS, HACCP, and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP).
- Collaborate with operational teams to promote a proactive safety culture and achieve zero lost-time incidents.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant HSEQ experience, preferably within logistics, warehousing, cold chain, FMCG, retail, or similar operational environments.
Strong knowledge of:
- Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification.
- Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis.
- HSE Audits and Compliance Monitoring.
- Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
- FSMS, HACCP, and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HSE reporting systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
- NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent HSE certification.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 management systems.
- Experience supporting warehouse, logistics, or cold chain operations.
- Experience conducting employee safety training and awareness programs.
- Familiarity with emergency response planning, fire safety, and environmental sustainability initiatives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong report writing and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Valid Saudi driving license.
- Willingness to travel between operational sites.
Pay: ﷼5,000.00 - ﷼7,000.00 per month
