About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSEQ Officer to support our growing operations by ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards across multiple operational sites. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture, conducting inspections, managing risk assessments, delivering training, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections and audits across operational sites to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Identify workplace hazards, perform risk assessments, and recommend effective control measures.
  • Monitor and follow up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure of observations.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, perform root cause analysis, and prepare detailed reports.
  • Develop and maintain HSEQ documentation, records, and reports.
  • Conduct inductions, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs for employees and contractors.
  • Monitor compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures where applicable.
  • Support implementation and maintenance of HSEQ management systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring readiness for regulatory and certification requirements.
  • Support emergency preparedness activities, including evacuation drills and fire safety programs.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality requirements where applicable, including FSMS, HACCP, and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP).
  • Collaborate with operational teams to promote a proactive safety culture and achieve zero lost-time incidents.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant HSEQ experience, preferably within logistics, warehousing, cold chain, FMCG, retail, or similar operational environments.

Strong knowledge of:

  • Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification.
  • Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis.
  • HSE Audits and Compliance Monitoring.
  • Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
  • FSMS, HACCP, and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HSE reporting systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent HSE certification.
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 management systems.
  • Experience supporting warehouse, logistics, or cold chain operations.
  • Experience conducting employee safety training and awareness programs.
  • Familiarity with emergency response planning, fire safety, and environmental sustainability initiatives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong report writing and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid Saudi driving license.
  • Willingness to travel between operational sites.

Pay: ﷼5,000.00 - ﷼7,000.00 per month
