HSE / Safety Officer – Building Construction | Dubai

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced HSE / Safety Officer for a reputed contracting company in Dubai. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring site safety, implementing HSE policies, and maintaining compliance with UAE construction safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (UAE Attested)
• Safety Advisor Registration Scheme - SARS Card – Trakhees (Mandatory)
• Building Construction experience required
• Minimum 2–3 years UAE experience as HSE / Safety Officer
• Valid UAE Driving License required
• Good knowledge of UAE construction safety regulations and HSE standards
• NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent safety certification preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies at construction sites
• Conduct site safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification
• Ensure compliance with Dubai safety regulations and Trakhees requirements
• Prepare and maintain HSE reports, incident reports, and safety documentation
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training for workers and staff
• Monitor PPE usage and safe work practices across project sites
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and implement preventive measures
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to maintain a safe work environment
