Role Overv
iew
The Human Capital Specialist – Employee Relations is responsible for managing and supporting employee relations matters to ensure a positive, compliant, and productive workplace environment. The role involves handling employee grievances, disciplinary cases, conflict resolution, and providing guidance on policies and procedures in line with organizational values and legal requirements. The specialist will also support broader Human Capital functions as required.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.

Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in a professional and timely manner.

Provide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding employee relations policies, procedures, and labor law compliance.

Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, regulations, and company policies in all employee relation activities.

Prepare and maintain accurate records of investigations, disciplinary actions, and employee relations cases.

Assist in developing and implementing employee engagement and retention initiatives.

Collaborate with HR team members to support other Human Capital functions such as talent acquisition, performance management, training, and compensation.

Participate in policy reviews and recommend updates to align with best practices and legal requirements.

Qualifications & Require
ments
-
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in employee relations; exposure to other Human Capital functions is highly desirable.

Previous work experienc
e in construction or general contracting ind
ustry is preferred.

Preferably hol
ds a CIPD, SHRM, or any other recognized professional HR certific
ation.

Strong knowledge of labor laws and employee relations practices.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.
