The chosen candidate will supervise investigators and investigations regionally to include Division of Adult Institutions, Probation and Parole Districts and Communit Release Centers identified for that region.
An individual in this position must direct and assist in the supervision of Civil Rights investigations as well as reporting and processing investigation findings. They must represent the Department of Corrections and/or serve as an expert on investigative inquiries and findings. This position must have comprehensive knowledge of principles of supervision and investigation. The position requires knowledge of techniques and procedures to include interviewing, evidence collection and preservation and documentation of case information. Ability to engage, train and supervise professional human resources and support staff.
The position requires processing and documentation of Civil Rights allegations and findings.
Applicant must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the department officials, other state agencies and the general public.
Qualifications - All you need for successMinimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of three years of civil or criminal investigative (non-clerical) experience.
