Job Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and people-focused Human Resources Director to lead the development and execution of HR strategies across our hospitality operations. This role is responsible for talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, learning & development, and organizational culture to ensure exceptional service delivery and sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with business objectives and hospitality service standards.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and culture.
- Lead HR transformation initiatives to support growth, expansion, and operational excellence.
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Oversee recruitment strategies for hotels, restaurants, and corporate functions.
- Ensure effective manpower planning, succession planning, and talent pipeline development.
- Strengthen employer branding to attract high-quality hospitality professionals.
3. Employee Experience & Engagement
- Foster a positive workplace culture that supports diversity, inclusion, and high performance.
- Lead employee engagement programs, retention strategies, and recognition initiatives.
- Manage employee relations, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.
4. Performance Management & Learning
- Design and implement performance management frameworks, KPIs, and appraisal systems.
- Oversee training, leadership development, and continuous learning programs tailored to hospitality roles.
- Promote service excellence and customer-centric behaviors across teams.
5. Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations
- Develop competitive compensation and benefits structures aligned with market benchmarks and budgets.
- Ensure efficient HR operations, payroll coordination, policies, and HRIS management.
- Monitor labor costs, productivity metrics, and workforce efficiency.
6. Compliance, Governance & Risk
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, immigration regulations, health & safety standards, and hospitality regulations.
- Maintain HR policies, codes of conduct, and disciplinary procedures.
- Support internal audits, investigations, and regulatory reporting when required.
7. Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and develop the HR team across properties and departments.
- Partner with operations, finance, and executive management to align people strategy with business performance.
- Drive a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- 10–15 years of progressive HR experience, including senior leadership roles within hospitality, hotels, F&B, or tourism.
- Professional certification such as CIPD, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, or PHR/SPHR is highly desirable.
Technical & Leadership Skills
- Strong expertise in HR strategy, talent management, labor law compliance, and organizational development.
- Experience managing multi-property or large workforce environments.
- Proven ability to lead change, build culture, and improve employee engagement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical judgment.
