  • Oversee onboarding and induction programs for new hires to ensure smooth integration.

2. HR Operations & Administration

  • Manage employee records, contracts, and documentation in line with company and country-specific regulations.

  • Administer employee benefits and handle insurance and statutory compliance as per local laws.

3. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as a point of contact for HR-related issues for African staff; provide guidance and support to employees and managers.
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in line with company policies.
  • Drive engagement initiatives to strengthen company culture and retention across African operations.

4. Performance Management

  • Support the implementation of performance review systems and KPIs.
  • Assist line managers in conducting appraisals, providing feedback, and implementing performance improvement plans (PIPs).

5. HR Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws in African countries of operation (e.g., Nigeria Labour Act, Zambia Employment Code, etc.).
  • Maintain HR metrics and generate reports on headcount, attrition, and other HR KPIs for management review.
  • Support audits, renewals, and statutory filings as required.

6. Strategic HR Support

  • Contribute to developing HR policies, procedures, and regional alignment initiatives.
  • Work with management to identify training and development needs for the African workforce.
  • Participate in organizational restructuring or expansion projects across new markets.

7. MIS/Reporting

  • Prepare & submit the weekly, monthly & annual hr reports.
  • Update the hr records on time.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 2–4 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 1–2 years managing HR functions in African countries.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, employment laws, and cultural dynamics in Africa.
  • Experience in industries such as oil & gas, energy, logistics, or trading preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel & PowerPoint and HR software (ERP/HRIS).
  • Excellent communication skills (English required; French or local African languages is an advantage).
