Job Description – Human Resource (HR) Executive/Manager (School)Position Overview:
The HR in a school is responsible for managing all human resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, staff welfare, compliance with educational regulations, and maintaining a positive work environment. The role ensures that the school has the right staff in place, and that policies are implemented fairly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Staffing
- Plan and execute recruitment for teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Coordinate with heads of departments for manpower requirements.
- Draft job descriptions, post advertisements, and manage selection processes.
- Conduct interviews along with academic heads/management.
- Onboarding & Induction
- Organize orientation and induction programs for new employees.
- Prepare appointment letters, contracts, and maintain staff files.
- Employee Records & Compliance
- Maintain and update HR database, attendance, and leave records.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE/ICSE/State Board/IB guidelines (as applicable).
- Handle employee documentation in line with labour laws and school regulations.
- Performance Management
- Coordinate performance appraisal system.
- Support heads of departments in staff evaluation.
- Recommend training and development programs.
- Employee Relations & Welfare
- Address staff grievances and concerns.
- Implement staff welfare initiatives and employee engagement activities.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work culture.
- Training & Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development workshops.
- Organize mandatory training sessions (child safety, POSH, etc.).
- Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Support payroll preparation with attendance and leave data.
- Ensure timely submission of PF, ESI, Gratuity, and other benefits.
- Policy & Compliance
- Draft and implement HR policies in line with school’s vision.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and education board guidelines.
- Support audits and inspections.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and labour laws.
- Experience in school/education sector (preferred).
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
- Can manage with people & journey with equal ease.
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in HR/Management (MBA HR preferred).
- 5–8 years of HR experience (school/education industry experience is an advantage).

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
