Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary
Position is accountable for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource’s functions, employee life cycle, labor and employee relations, grievances and complaints, Equal Employment Opportunity Plan (EEOP) reporting, in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations for the County Executive’s Human Resource department.

Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree in business, Human Resources, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in Human Resources. Government or Municipality experience preferred. Valid State of Illinois Driver’s License required. Minimum automobile insurance as required by law. Human Resources certification, such as SHRM -SCP, SHRM -CP, SPHR, PHR or equivalent, preferred.

Salary Range
$55,000 - $65,000 DOQ, Exempt.
