Position Summary
The HR Generalist will support the full employee lifecycle for the company. This role is ideal for an HR professional who is organized, approachable, and experienced in employee relations, compliance, and supporting field-based technicians alongside office staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and leadership
- Support recruiting efforts for technicians, installers, call center, and office roles
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and training logistics
- Administer benefits, leave programs, and HRIS updates
- Support employee relations matters, documentation, and investigations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Maintain accurate personnel files and HR records
- Assist with performance management, corrective action, and policy enforcement
- Partner with leadership to promote a positive, accountable, and respectful workplace culture
- Support employee engagement initiatives aligned with company values
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience (Generalist preferred)
- Experience in HVAC, construction, trades, or service-based industries strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus, not required
