Then the South Carolina Department of Social Services has the right job opportunity for you.Job Duties: The Human Resource Liaison coordinates personnel activities and serve as an administrative assistant/HR liaison by providing policy and procedural guidance and assistance to division staff. Establish and coordinate general administrative activities for the division and provide consultation on administrative practices and processes.Processes and oversees P-Card expenditures. Processes Purchase Orders and Direct-Pays to vendors for the Division of Early Care & Education through 1402 , 37190, 37196, 2000 and IDT processing complying with policies and procedures outlined for Procurement and Accounts Payable usage; maintains records of all purchases, payments, approvals and receipts of purchases; verifies accuracy of allocation, PCA's and Cost Centers before Bank of America monthly close-outs in the WORKS system; submits 1850 Forms to Lisa Smith for bulk ordering of all mailing materials and business cards.Creates, processes, updates and maintains Travel in and out of state for employees in Division. Travel Requests (1103s),Travel reimbursements (536s), Cash advances(61s) Booking flights, Direct-Bill hotel processing, (1149-Bs), CGO of exceeding expenses out-of-state. Acts as the "HUB" for all questions, training, and assistance for the Division relating to travel for ECE, ABCG, ABCC, CACFP NUT and CACFP Monitoring, Endeavors, all CCL Offices (4 Regions) and SC Scholarship Program.Act as Human Resources liaison by preparing and/or processing personnel actions for ABC Quality and CACFP offices. Coordinate all personnel functions related to submitting OnBase vacancy requests, processing SLED checks, preparing 1411's and offer letters, as well as other new hire paperwork; preparing justifications for Hire Above Minimum requests and reclassifications; assisting with time in SCEIS; using Neo-Gov for applications, processing E-Verifies, processing Direct Deposits, FMLA and WC paperwork. Maintains files, maintains changes for approximately (650) Segra phone lines and numbers for the Division of EC&E, ABCG, ABCC, CACFP offices, Endeavors, CCL (4 regions) and SC Scholarship Program. Communicates with Segra directly, codes all invoices and submits to Finance monthly.Responsible for (62) Apple One Employee positions for EC&E, ABCC, ABCG, CACFP Offices, Endeavors, CCL (4 Regions) and the SC Scholarship Program. (on-boarding, maintaining, approving time records and exiting of personnel), SLED-Fingerprinting paperwork, create weekly spreadsheets, code and submit invoices weekly.Ensures that Personal Identifying Information (PII) is properly used, accessed, gathered, shared and disposed; protect agency networks and applications by safeguarding systems, equipment, and data.Participates in Red Cross shelter trainings; when directed, report to shelter timely and perform shelter duty and other emergency services/duties as required.
