Human Resource Manager

Join our team at Riverside Post Acute as a Human Resource Manager.

Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM

$72,880 - $74,880 per year (all inclusive)

Responsibilities of Human Resource Manager:

  • Reviewing requests for paid time off (PTO), vacation, maternity leave, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and unpaid leaves of absence

  • Fulfilling staffing vacancies in advance to ensure adequate coverages for all shifts

  • Submitting payroll on a biweekly basis for all staff

  • Checking time clock punch records against master schedules and noting the appropriate changes

  • Signing time correction forms for events such as missing meal periods or forgetting to clock in/out

  • Approving contracts with temporary staffing agencies who send nurses / nursing assistants to the facility

  • Utilizing computer software to prepare, change and update the master schedule


Qualifications for Human Resource Manager:

  • Two years of bookkeeping experience within a healthcare or long-term care setting, including, but not limited to: managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions.

  • Software proficiency such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.

  • Must have knowledge of billing and collection practices/techniques.

  • Prior experience in Human Resources within a nursing center or healthcare setting.

  • Payroll experience
