As a Human Resources Specialist at North Range Behavioral Health, you will play an important role in shaping how we support and invest in our employees through thoughtful, mission-aligned benefits and compensation programs. This position helps ensure our Total Rewards offers are accessible, competitive and meaningful, supporting employee well-being, financial stability, and work-life balance so our workforce can focus on the critical work of serving our community. In this role you will partner with employees, leaders, and external vendors to administer and continuously improve benefits and compensation programs, support new hire onboarding experiences, and maintain accurate HR data and reporting that informs strategic decision-making. Your work will help strengthen the employee’s experience by providing clear responsive guidance, support, and education around the resources available to staff. By combining operational excellence with a people-centered approach, the Human Resources Total Rewards Specialist helps advance a workplace where employees feel supported, valued, and empowered to contribute to the mission of improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve.

What You Will Do:

  • Support a competitive and equitable compensation program by assisting with salary benchmarking, job evaluations, pay structure maintenance, and incentive plan tracking. Partner with HR leadership to ensure salary placements align with organizational philosophy and market trends.
  • Contribute to annual compensation planning by supporting salary review cycles, pay adjustments, incentive planning, and pay equity analyses. Prepare data insights and recommendations that help ensure fair, transparent, and sustainable pay practices.
  • Champion the employee benefits experience by supporting benefit enrollments, status changes, and employee inquiries while helping ensure employees understand and maximize the value of their benefits.
  • Help deliver a meaningful Open Enrollment experience by coordinating communications, preparing materials, supporting system updates, and ensuring employees have the information they need to make confident benefits decisions.
  • Support the administration of the organization’s retirement program, helping ensure accurate processing, regulatory compliance, and clear communication so employees can confidently plan for their financial future.
  • Promote compliance and operational excellence by supporting adherence to federal, state, and local regulations (including ACA requirements) and maintaining accurate records that support audits and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Payroll and HRIS partners to ensure compensation and benefits data is accurate and reliable, proactively identifying discrepancies and helping strengthen systems and processes.
  • Maintain high-quality HR data within HRIS and benefits platforms to support reporting, audits, and informed decision-making across the organization.
  • Translate data into insights by generating reports and basic analytics related to compensation, benefits, and total rewards to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Partners across the organization with HR, Finance, and leadership teams to support and enhance total rewards initiatives that attract, retain, and support a mission-driven workforce.
  • Contribute to a collaborative HR team environment by supporting additional projects and responsibilities that advance the organization’s people strategy

You’re a Great Fit If You:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or have an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Have 1 year of experience working in a Human Resources department, ideally with exposure to compensation, benefits, or Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Familiarity with benefit programs, payroll, and basic total rewards concepts preferred.
  • Paycom benefits admin experience strongly preferred, and/or other HRIS experience.
  • Can successfully complete pre-employment screening, including background check, fingerprinting, and drug and TB testing.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish speaking and writing skills desired.
