Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join our team! In this vital role, you will serve as a key support for our HR and administrative department. You will be providing support for records management, recruitment, compliance and employee support as well as acting as a backup for other administrative responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment activities including posting positions, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and assisting with candidate screenings.
- Prepare onboarding material including training set up, collecting relevant documentation and refernece checking.
- Manage Sexual Misconduct Form for all new hires and assist with completing forms from other school districts.
- Assist with maintaining all employment documentation and electronic files.
- Track and monitor pre-employment requirements, certifications, background checks and onbarding timelines.
- Manage employee licenses, certification and compliance tracking.
- Assist with payroll related administration including timesheet review, attendance tracking and employee status changes.
- Assist with leave tracking for all leaves of absences and disability and unemployment claims.
- Organize and maintain job descriptions.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs and staff events.
- Assist with performance review tracking and documentation process.
- Act as a backup receptionist when needed.
- Act as a backup to purchasing.
- Act as a backup for editing evaluations.
- Act as a backup for maintaining office supply inventory.
- Assist with central filing /maintaining discharged therapy charts.
- Support departmental projects, process improvements, and special assignments.
- Other duties related tot he position's primary responsibilities as assigned.
Experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- Proven administrative experience supporting human resources functions in a fast-paced environment preferred.
- Knowledge of HR practices, confidentiality standards and employment processes preferred.
- Experience with HRIS systems preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and accuracy skills.
- High proficiency in MS Office and other HR information systems preferred.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
