FLSA STATUS: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
SALARY RANGE: $50,000 – $65,000 annually (based on experience)

THE OPPORTUNITY
As Bay Crane continues to grow, our HR function is evolving to support a larger, more connected workforce. The Human Resources Administrator will play a hands-on role in this transformation — ensuring that day-to-day HR processes are accurate, compliant, and employee-focused.

In this role, you’ll be the central link between employees, branch managers, payroll, and leadership. You’ll manage the details that keep our people operations running — from maintaining personnel records and coordinating onboarding, to processing employee changes and assisting with benefits and leave tracking.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys variety, takes pride in getting things right, and wants to help shape a growing company’s HR foundation. You’ll work closely with experienced HR and Payroll leaders who are modernizing how Bay Crane supports its people.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within our HR systems
  • Prepare and process employee changes such as hires, terminations, and pay updates
  • Assist with HR reports, audits, and compliance documentation
  • Post job openings, review applicants, and coordinate interview scheduling
  • Collect and process onboarding paperwork and support new hire orientations
  • Help employees with benefit enrollments, changes, and leave requests
  • Serve as a friendly first point of contact for general HR questions
  • Support HR communications, trainings, and employee events
  • Partner with payroll to ensure data accuracy and timely updates

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR administration or a related role
  • Working knowledge of HR processes (recruiting, onboarding, benefits, recordkeeping)
  • Strong organization and attention to detail—you take pride in accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ADP or similar HRIS systems a plus
  • Excellent communication, professionalism, and discretion handling sensitive information

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
