Job Summary
The Human Resources Administrator supports HR operations across Western Pennsylvania Corps locations. This role focuses on HR administration, employee records management, benefits coordination, compliance tracking, and HRIS maintenance while supporting the Human Resources Director.
This position handles sensitive and confidential employee information and requires a high level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity.
Core ResponsibilitiesHRIS & Employee Records
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS (UKG), including hires, changes, benefits, and separations
- Maintain secure personnel, medical, benefits, and compliance files
- Perform HR data entry, reporting, and routine audits
- Ensure proper document retention and secure storage
Benefits & Compliance Administration
- Support benefits enrollment and employee benefit changes
- Maintain benefits data accuracy and coordinate with payroll
- Assist with FMLA tracking and documentation
- Support ACA compliance tracking and reporting
- Reconcile benefit-related invoices and employee status changes during leaves
Employee Support & HR Coordination
- Serve as first point of contact for HR policy, benefits, and general employee questions
- Support HR Director with HR-related administrative requests
- Assist departments with HR documentation for audits
- Maintain HR forms, handbooks, and internal documentation systems
Performance & HR Processes
- Track 90-day and annual performance review completion
- Support internal HR projects and reporting needs
General Administration
- Maintain HR supplies and administrative systems
- Support HR Director with special projects as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficiency in or ability to learn HRIS systems and reporting tools
- Basic knowledge of benefits administration, FMLA, and HR compliance practices
- Strong organizational, administrative, and computer skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and all levels of leadership
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Education and Experience
- Associate degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 1–2 years of administrative, clerical, or HR-related experience required
Additional Requirements
- Must successfully complete required organizational training (e.g., KeepSAfe)
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support departmental and organizational needs
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
