Hoxton Circle has partnered with a local client that needs a contracted/temporary part-time Human Resources Assistant with a specialization in safety. The job will run through Hoxton Circle on a contract/temporary basis part-time at about 30 hours before moving into full-time then permanent with the client. The contract phase is about 2-4 months but will be converted to permanent based on performance, Medical benefits and sick pay are available during the contract phase.
Functions:

Lead and own safety and compliance within the company while liaison between internal departments.
- Responding to requests from managers and employees to assist in resolving personnel issues.

Gathering factual information and making recommendations on employee and management inquiries.

May conducts exit and stay interviews, summarizes findings, and discusses trends and concerns with senior management.

Observing and tracking employee's performances at regular intervals.

Assists with termination decisions.

Collaborates and communicates with employees to understand their concerns.

Counsels and provides guidance and support to the employees and resolving their issues.

Provides training, advice and counsel to supervisors, employees and leadership team on employee relations’ issues.

Writes comprehensive, factual reports of findings resulting from assigned investigations for use in decision-making.

Assists development and implementation of policies and safety procedures.
Qualifications:

HR Certification, AA or BA degree in Business Administration HR highly desired.

3+ years working in safety-compliance within an HR function.

Experience in agriculture, manufacturing highly desired.
