Job Summary:

Consults, recommends configuration changes, implements process change, supports and maintains Workday help application and functionality to meet the needs of the organization. Serves as a liaison or SME (2.0) for Workday Help and has meaningful relationships with Human Resources operations, information technology, leadership, system users and vendors.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages projects and escalation tickets as a Tier 2 Workday SME (subject matter expert), as assigned.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves basic to moderately complex application issues and provides end user support.
  • Monitors applications for issues in connection with maintenance, upgrades and implementations.
  • Assists in performing business operational process design, reengineering and documentation for new technology and strategies for best practices for the function.
  • Oversees the training for new agents, providing direction to the 1.5 reps as they assess training needs for each new agent.
  • Primary support for People Services escalations from the Tier 1.5 HR Specialists.
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Serves as a de-escalation lead to ensure positive and productive resolution and acts as a satisfaction point for customers, without management involvement. Uses a case management system to ensure that all details/relevant information are organized and documented appropriately, and those cases are classified appropriately.
  • Serves as subject matter expert for department processes and operations, including active participation representing department and processes on different work streams within organization. Supports the implementation of HR programs, new processes, and policies.
  • Communicates unusual or repetitive escalated cases to management members for potential process improvement or knowledge shares to department. Communicates concerns to management as needed.
  • Takes ownership of all assigned tasks, initiatives, inquiries, and escalations and makes sure that they are resolved/completed efficiently with a superior level of quality.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Business administration, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent years of experience and education

EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
