Human Resource Assistant Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Assist with daily HR operations, including maintaining employee records and managing HR documents.
- Recruitment: Help in the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
- Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training sessions.
- Payroll Assistance: Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate employee data and assisting with payroll-related queries.
- HR Projects: Participate in various HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement activities and performance management processes.
- Other tasks as assigned to support the office of the HR Department
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: A high school diploma is required; an associate or bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in an HR role or administrative position is advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR software (HRIS/HRMS), Employment Job boards.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with employees and management.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
