Part-Time HR Assistant

Position Summary

Red Mesa Group is seeking a Part-Time HR Assistant to support the HR Director in daily administrative and people operations functions across multiple restaurant locations. This role focuses on onboarding, compliance, and employee file management, ensuring smooth communication and consistency across all Red Mesa Group properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires (front and back of house)
• Maintain employee records and HR systems (ADP, BambooHR, Restaurant365)
• Update and track recruiting and onboarding progress (Monday.com)
• Coordinate interviews, trainings, and compliance certifications
• Support scheduling, payroll accuracy, and HR documentation
• Help plan and execute HR-driven employee events and engagement programs
• Ensure confidentiality and consistency across all Red Mesa Group locations

Qualifications

• 1+ year of HR, recruiting, or administrative experience preferred
• Hospitality or restaurant industry experience a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Detail-oriented and organized with strong communication and follow-up skills
• Comfortable using HR and project management tools (ADP, BambooHR, Monday.com, etc.)
• Able to multitask and stay flexible in a fast-paced, people-centered environment
