Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in various functions essential to organizational success. The ideal candidate will assist with human capital management, employee relations, benefits administration, and HRIS data entry, ensuring smooth HR operations aligned with strategic objectives. Duties
- Assist with talent acquisition processes including recruiting, ATS management, and social media management to attract qualified candidates.
- Support employee onboarding and orientation programs to facilitate seamless integration of new hires.
- Maintain accurate HRIS records using systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UltiPro.
- Coordinate employee evaluation and performance management activities, including data collection and documentation.
- Administer employee benefits programs and manage benefits-related inquiries.
- Support compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, workers' compensation policies, and affirmative action planning.
- Assist in project management initiatives related to change management and organization design.
- Handle data entry tasks related to contracts, payroll (Paychex, ADP, Paylocity), and other HR documentation.
- Contribute to employee relations efforts by managing conflict resolution processes and communication strategies.
- Support training & development programs and succession planning activities.
- Perform administrative duties such as record keeping, reporting, and supporting HR sourcing efforts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience or familiarity with human resources management systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UltiPro.
- Strong understanding of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures, and HR compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Proficiency in data collection, data entry, and HRIS platforms including ADP, Paychex, Taleo, iCIMS, Ceridian, Kronos, or PeopleSoft is preferred.
- Experience with recruiting tools such as ATS platforms (e.g., Lever) and social media channels for talent sourcing is advantageous.
- Ability to manage confidential information discreetly and professionally.
- Administrative experience supporting HR functions like benefits administration, training & development programs, and employee evaluations is highly desirable.
