Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Plumbing Dispatcher to coordinate service requests, manage scheduling, and ensure efficient communication between clients, technicians, and suppliers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency in transportation management systems, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential for maintaining smooth operations within our plumbing service department and supporting overall logistical functions.Duties<ul><li>Receive and prioritize incoming service requests via multi-line phone systems and other communication channels.</li><li>Schedule plumbing technicians efficiently using transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine.</li><li>Utilize GIS, GPS, and transportation planning tools to optimize routing and dispatching of field personnel.</li><li>Coordinate freight, shipping &amp; receiving, and fleet management activities to ensure timely delivery of parts and equipment.</li><li>Maintain accurate data entry related to dispatch activities, work orders, and inventory using AS400 and other enterprise systems.</li><li>Communicate effectively with technicians, clients, suppliers, and internal teams via phone etiquette and professional communication skills.</li><li>Monitor and update logistics data to support supply chain operations and 3PL relationships.</li><li>Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for process improvements in transportation management and logistics workflows.</li><li>Assist with reporting on dispatch performance metrics and support analysis for transportation planning initiatives.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience with transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or SyteLine.</li><li>Strong knowledge of GIS, GPS technology, freight logistics, shipping &amp; receiving processes, and fleet management.</li><li>Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data related to transportation planning and supply chain operations.</li><li>Proficiency in data entry, typing skills, and managing multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette.</li><li>Familiarity with 3PL logistics providers, shipping &amp; receiving procedures, and transportation analysis tools like AS400.</li><li>Effective communication skills for coordinating with multiple stakeholders across various departments.</li><li>Ability to handle dispatching responsibilities efficiently while managing time-sensitive requests.</li><li>Prior experience in logistics or transportation planning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed. This role offers an opportunity to develop expertise in employment law, workforce management, and talent acquisition within a dynamic environment.Duties<ul><li>Assist with talent acquisition processes including recruiting, ATS management, and social media management to attract qualified candidates.</li><li>Support employee onboarding and orientation programs to facilitate seamless integration of new hires.</li><li>Maintain accurate HRIS records using systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UltiPro.</li><li>Coordinate employee evaluation and performance management activities, including data collection and documentation.</li><li>Administer employee benefits programs and manage benefits-related inquiries.</li><li>Support compliance with employment &amp; labor law, OSHA regulations, workers' compensation policies, and affirmative action planning.</li><li>Assist in project management initiatives related to change management and organization design.</li><li>Handle data entry tasks related to contracts, payroll (Paychex, ADP, Paylocity), and other HR documentation.</li><li>Contribute to employee relations efforts by managing conflict resolution processes and communication strategies.</li><li>Support training &amp; development programs and succession planning activities.</li><li>Perform administrative duties such as record keeping, reporting, and supporting HR sourcing efforts.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience or familiarity with human resources management systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UltiPro.</li><li>Strong understanding of employment &amp; labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures, and HR compliance requirements.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.</li><li>Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.</li><li>Proficiency in data collection, data entry, and HRIS platforms including ADP, Paychex, Taleo, iCIMS, Ceridian, Kronos, or PeopleSoft is preferred.</li><li>Experience with recruiting tools such as ATS platforms (e.g., Lever) and social media channels for talent sourcing is advantageous.</li><li>Ability to manage confidential information discreetly and professionally.</li><li>Administrative experience supporting HR functions like benefits administration, training &amp; development programs, and employee evaluations is highly desirable.
