Human Resources Assistant

Job Summary

The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the HR department. This role ensures the smooth execution of HR processes including recruitment coordination, employee records management, onboarding, and day-to-day employee support.


Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Hiring Support

  • Assist in posting job vacancies on various platforms
  • Screen CVs and shortlist candidates based on requirements
  • Coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers
  • Prepare interview schedules and maintain recruitment trackers

2. Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle

  • Support onboarding processes for new hires
  • Prepare employment documents (offer letters, contracts, etc.)
  • Coordinate pre-joining requirements (IT access, documentation, etc.)
  • Maintain employee files and ensure proper documentation

3. HR Administration

  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems
  • Handle employee documentation, letters, and certificates
  • Track attendance, leaves, and basic payroll inputs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

4. Employee Support

  • Respond to employee queries related to HR policies and processes
  • Assist in resolving basic HR-related issues
  • Support employee engagement activities and events

5. Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain HR reports and dashboards
  • Assist in audits and compliance documentation
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Finance, IT, Admin)


Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience in HR or administrative roles

Skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Good communication skills (English required; Arabic is a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Basic understanding of HR processes


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with HR systems or ATS
  • Knowledge of local labor laws
  • Experience in recruitment coordination
