We are seeking a motivated and professional Human Resources Assistant to join our established Westside El Paso team. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly alongside experienced HR professionals in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where you will gain hands-on experience in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, compliance, and HR operations.

What You’ll Do

As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting daily HR operations and employee services.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding and orientations
  • Prepare and process employee hiring documents including I-9s, W-4s, contracts, and personnel files
  • Enter and maintain employee information within the HRIS system
  • Audit employee records for accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with recruiting support and applicant screening activities
  • Administer and score pre-employment assessments
  • Support HR staff with employee relations documentation and administrative projects
  • Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, and personnel documentation
  • Answer phones and assist employees and clients with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Maintain confidential employee and company information
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Director and HR team
  • Assist with additional HR and administrative duties as assigned

What We’re Looking ForRequired Experience

  • 3–5 years of administrative, clerical, or office support experience
  • Minimum 1 year of Human Resources experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • College coursework in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred for future advancement opportunities
  • Experience with:
  • HRIS systems
  • Employee onboarding
  • Personnel file management
  • Unemployment claims
  • Employee relations documentation
  • Microsoft Office Suite

Technical Skills Required

Candidates must be highly proficient in:

  • Microsoft Word
  • Excel
  • Outlook
  • PowerPoint
  • General office and computer systems
