Human Resources Assistant

The HR Assistant role offers a unique opportunity to develop essential HR skills while working with a positive supportive team. The selected candidate will work in our office Monday - Friday, located at 101 E. 15th St., Austin, TX.

You will be on the front-line of HR requests, providing workable solutions to our customers.

- Provide administrative support for a variety of HR functions.
- Assist with onboarding new employees and ensuring a seamless transition into agency culture.
- Answer inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate HR records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Be a confidential and trustworthy resource, handling sensitive employee information with the utmost discretion and in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of HR processes and systems.
- Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries submitted through ticketing systems or email.
- Enter, update, and retrieve employee data in HR systems.
- Assist with onboarding new hires, providing guidance and support to new employees during their initial weeks.
- Be an integral part of projects that impact delivery of HR services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Six months experience in any of the following: human resources administrative work, technical assistance work, clerical administration and procedures, or business management practices such as preparation, maintenance, and control of forms, records, and reports.
- Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
