Job Title: Human Resources Assistant/Recruiter

Reports to: HR Manager
Location: Haggin Oaks Golf Course

Rate of Pay: $25.00 hr - $28.00 hr DOE

FLSA Status: hourly, non-exempt

Position Overview

Morton Golf is looking for a dedicated Human Resources Assistant who will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department's day-to-day operations. The HR Assistant will ensure the smooth functioning of HR processes and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating interviews, conducting initial candidate screenings, and maintaining accurate records.
• Facilitate new employee onboarding, including preparing orientation materials and coordinating training sessions.
• Act as a point of contact for employees, providing assistance with HR-related inquiries and concerns.
• Support the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
• Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist in the administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
• Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
• Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and facilitate open enrollment processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of Paycom HR Software preferred.
• Proven experience as an HR Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS systems.
