Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Benefits Administrator to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with employment and labor laws, and supporting HR operations.
Responsibilities
- Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and workers' compensation claims.
- Manage benefits enrollment, updates, and terminations using systems such as ADP, Foundation Software.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws such as FMLA, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations; prepare regulatory reports as required.
- Conduct employee orientation sessions related to benefits options and company policies.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding benefits plans and resolve issues related to payroll, benefits administration, and HR policies.
- Collaborate with payroll teams to ensure accurate processing of benefits deductions and contributions.
- Support employee relations initiatives by providing clear communication on benefits policies and updates.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law including FMLA regulations and HIPAA compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and regulatory reporting processes.
- Excellent communication skills for effective employee engagement and negotiation with vendors or benefit providers.
- Experience in benefits administration including health insurance plans, retirement programs, workers' compensation claims, and regulatory compliance.
- Bilingual
