Human Resources Business Partner

Conax Technologies LLC is seeking a strategic and versatile HR Business Partner with broad expertise across talent acquisition, labor relations, performance management, total rewards, compliance, and HRIS architecture. Serves as a trusted advisor and acts as a backup to the Global HR Leader. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and thrives in a high-accountability environment focused on accuracy, compliance, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads comprehensive recruiting strategies that attract high‑quality and diverse talent, for various levels within the organization, while enhancing hiring processes and advising hiring managers in effective selection.
  • Has expertise in labor relations, including contract interpretation, grievance resolution, and supporting negotiations to maintain productive union‑management partnerships.
  • Provides targeted coaching to people leaders and employees to strengthen leadership effectiveness, navigate complex situations, and improve team dynamics.
  • Supports performance management, including facilitating goal‑setting, ensuring alignment with business objectives, coaching managers on effective feedback practices, tracking progress throughout the year, and driving a consistent, high‑quality employee experience.
  • Oversee payroll compliance, ensuring accurate timekeeping, wage calculations, and adherence to federal, state, and contractual requirements.
  • Assist in the management of employee benefit programs, collaborate with brokers on plans to investigate issues and proactively promote benefit programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive the annual open enrollment processes utilizing Paycom.
  • Support compensation analysis, market benchmarking, and ensure pay practices are equitable, compliant, and aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Ensures rigorous compliance by interpreting and applying labor laws, policies, and best practices to reduce risk and maintain a fair, consistent employee experience.
  • Optimize workflows, data integrity, reporting, and system functionality within Paycom to improve HR operations and business insights.
  • Assists in the support of global HR priorities and steps in to support the Global HR Leader when needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing; union experience strongly preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of employment law, payroll compliance, and HR operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification a plus.
