Human Resources Business Partner

At Grandiose , we are currently seeking a HRBP to support our growing eCommerce team.


Job Purpose:


Act as a strategic HR partner to the eCommerce function, driving performance, organizational effectiveness, and workforce discipline across operations, while supporting rapid business growth and scalability.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Performance Management & Discipline

  • Drive performance culture across eCommerce teams (operations, call center, outsourced staff)
  • Implement and enforce performance frameworks (KPIs, reviews, corrective actions)
  • Identify low performers and ensure timely action (coaching, PIPs, exits)
  • Support leadership in maintaining accountability and high standards


2. Workforce Planning & Scaling

  • Support manpower planning aligned with business growth (dark stores, expansion, peak demand)
  • Ensure optimal staffing levels across all functions
  • Work with outsourcing partners to manage workforce supply and quality
  • Anticipate hiring needs based on business forecasts


3. Employee Relations & Issue Resolution

  • Handle employee concerns, conflicts, and escalations effectively
  • Maintain balance between employee engagement and business priorities
  • Ensure issues are resolved quickly without disrupting operations
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers on people-related matters


4. Organizational Development

  • Support structuring of teams as the business scales
  • Identify gaps in roles, capabilities, and reporting lines
  • Work with leadership to improve team efficiency and clarity


5. HR Processes & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, labor laws, and HR processes
  • Manage onboarding, transfers, exits, and documentation
  • Maintain strong governance across outsourced and internal teams


6. Engagement (With Purpose)

  • Drive targeted engagement initiatives that improve performance and retention
  • Avoid “vanity engagement” — focus on what impacts output and stability
  • Monitor morale and act before it impacts productivity



Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years experience as HRBP, preferably in retail, eCommerce, or operations-heavy environments
  • Experience handling large workforce populations (including outsourced staff)
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and HR practices in UAE
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Strong stakeholder management with business leaders
