Position Summary:
The Human Resources Business Partner III acts as an employee champion and change agent. You will assess and anticipate HR-related needs, provide day-to-day HR support to managers and employees, and partner with management to define and deliver world-class HR processes. Focus is on the shaping and application of strategy and alignment to obtain business goals.
Job Functions for the Human Resources Business Partner III:
- Set recruiting strategy and lead full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding, for exempt and non-exempt personnel, interns, and temporary employees. Coordinate postings and relations with job boards and social media resources

Maintains Human Resource Information system records, compiles reports, and supports compliance audits. Ensure compliance with FLSA and workplace rules. Uses data to drive workforce decisions and improvements

Address employee concerns, independently conducts investigations, recommends appropriate actions

Handles employee relations, counseling, and exit interviewing. Assists employees with policy, benefits, time and attendance, and other HR related questions and issues

Administers various Human Resources plans and procedures. Trains supervisors on leadership and HR practices

Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed

Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems

Assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with FLSA, OSHA, ACA, FMLA, and other programs and standards

Participates in staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars

Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed

Support compliance and training including schedule training events, identify participants, prepare materials, and facilitate as needed. Design, develop, and deliver training as needed.

Active involvement in safety programs and coordinate training and tracking for compliance, complete workers comp claims and monitor status, work with third party organizations to ensure compliance with programs

Active participation in the Safety Committee and lead P.R.I.D.E. Values Committee

Identify, design, and implement employee engagement initiatives for areas needing improvement

Collaborate with leadership on organizational design and change management project and initiatives

Provide guidance to others on HR team

Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and workforce planning

Qualifications for the Human Resources Business Partner III:
- A bachelor's degree and/or 7 years of experience in an area of Human Resources

Demonstrated understanding of HR core competencies and procedures

Ability to motivate staff and deal effectively with performance problems

Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration

Proven recruiting experience and success with both nonexempt and exempt positions

Effective oral and written communications skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to travel between locations
Preferred Qualifications for the Human Resources Business Partner III:
- Human Resources certification, strongly preferred

Experience with UKG
-
Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or related field

Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Experience in recruiting sales professionals

Compensation Type:
- $83,300 - $103,300 per year depending on experience + quarterly bonus potential
Reports to: VP of HR
Job Type: Full-time, Exempt
Hours: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday, hybrid work schedule
