Responsibilities

HR support across the aligned business
-
Act as first level HR support for aligned teams.

Hiring support:
-
Onboarding support for all teams, including:
-
Informing L&D team about new joiners and including them in respective new waves of training programs
-
Org announcement structure and update
-
Distribution List creation and maintenance on a weekly basis
-
Engagement and communications support:
-
Drive engagement activities based on key themes.
-
Own and drive HR related communications and tracking.
-
Support Communications team on HR engagement support including but not restricted to townhalls, Amber, Genome, and similar updates.

Enforce HR processes and provide end user support.
-
Adapt, modify, and update administrative methodologies, practices and procedures.

Communication to and education of employees regarding global HR policies, processes, and systems

Social Insurance Management:
-
Coordinate employee registration, updates, and deregistration with the Egyptian Social Insurance Authority in line with statutory timelines.
-
Ensure accurate submission of employee salary components for social insurance purposes, including basic and variable elements, in compliance with Egyptian regulations.

Support monthly reconciliation of social insurance contributions and liaise with payroll and finance teams to resolve discrepancies.

Labour Office Compliance and Employee Records:
-
Manage employee documentation and employment contracts in line with Egyptian Labour Law, ensuring proper registration and filing with the local Labour Office.

Support labour inspections and audits by maintaining accurate, up-to-date personnel files and responding to queries from local authorities.

Employment Lifecycle Regulatory Support:

Ensure all hires, exits, and employment changes (e.g., promotions, salary changes) are appropriately reflected in both Social Insurance and Labour Office systems.

Partner with global HR and compliance teams to ensure adherence to statutory requirements specific to Egypt, including documentation and reporting obligations.

Stakeholder Management & Escalation:

Act as a key point of contact for Cairo-based regulatory queries, supporting employees, managers, and HR teams on local statutory processes.

Escalate risks or non-compliance issues proactively and support remediation actions in line with Genpact policies and Egyptian legal frameworks.

Minimum qualifications

Education or experience relevant to functional area of Human Resources
Preferred qualifications

High learning agility and the courage to put forward a point of view – even when data is scarce – and setup iterative loops to learn and finetune as we go forward.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with data to generate insights

Strong Excel/technical skills to understand, read and comprehend data.
