Human Resources Clerk

Hours of work are 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

SUMMARY OF RESPOSIBILITIES:

Under the direction of the Human Resources Director, performs a variety of tasks in support of the Human Resources Department.

ILLISTRATIVE EXAMPLES OF WORK:

1. Serves as the initial point of contact for the Winnebago County Human Resources Department. Answers phone calls, greets both the public and employees.

2. Creates all new employee files, maintains all active employees file. Assist Human Resources Staff under the direction of the Human Resources Director.

3. Performs various office tasks including: sorting mail, scanning I-9’s into MUNIS, entering emergency contact information, maintaining the HR department email and completing employee verifications

4. Signs invoices authorizing payment for various supplies for the Human Resources department.

5. Reset employee password to the on-line Employee Self-Service website.

6. Assembles new employee orientation packets and retiree folders.

7. Maintains ID badge system creating new and replacement badges.

8. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

EDUCATION

- High school diploma, or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

- Minimum two year’s Human Resources experience required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
