Job Summary
CFMS is a Financial Management Service (FMS) dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities by supporting them in hiring and managing their co-employees, as well as allocating their state-funded budgets.

We’re excited to announce that our team—and our HR department—is growing! We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in Human Resources. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a mission-driven environment, supporting HR operations such as employee onboarding, compliance, personnel file maintenance, and communication with clients and co-employees.

What you’ll do

  • Verify and process essential employment documentation, including I-9 forms, identification, and employment verifications.
  • Support and finalize the onboarding process for new co-employees, ensuring all required documents and steps are completed accurately and on time.
  • Assist with processing terminations and resignations for co-employees in compliance with company policies and state regulations.
  • Coordinate and manage workers’ compensation claims for field employees, ensuring timely reporting and follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with federal and state employment laws.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, co-employees, and internal departments to ensure smooth HR operations.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, contributing to process improvements and team efficiency.

Basic qualifications

  • Strong organization skills with the ability to engage effectively with our team both internally and to our clients and employees.

Required qualifications:

MUST be bilingual in Spanish and English.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
