Core Responsibilities

Payroll Support

  • Review timesheets
  • Verify hours & PTO
  • Submit changes (new hires, terminations, rate changes)

Recruiting Coordination

  • Post job ads
  • Screen resumes
  • Schedule interviews
  • Run background checks
  • Send offer letters

Onboarding

  • Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires into the organization
  • Create employee files
  • Collect new hire documents
  • Set up Webclock, Wisestamp email signatures

Compliance

  • Maintain employee files
  • Monitor training deadlines (sexual harassment/CPR, etc)
  • Update policies as directed
  • Handle workers’ comp claims
  • Assist in compliance efforts related to employment & labor law, OSHA regulations

Employee Support

  • Answer benefits or PTO questions
  • Troubleshoot small issues

Offboarding

  • Checklist completion
  • Revoke system access (via IT/ keys/ password changes to email)
  • Exit interview scheduling

Experience

  • Proven experience in human resources management or administrative roles with a focus on HR functions such as recruiting, benefits administration, or employee relations
  • Familiarity with Webclock highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures
  • Demonstrated ability in project management with experience handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Experience with data collection and reporting, Google sheets

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.85 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
