HR Coordinator

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm

Position Summary

The HR Coordinator provides administrative support across all HR functions, ensuring accurate employee records, smooth onboarding, and strong department organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare new hire packets, badges, onboarding materials.
  • Enter HRIS updates, status changes, and employee file maintenance.
  • Schedule interviews, orientations, and training events.
  • Assist with sending offer letters, managing background checks, drug screens, physicals.
  • Ensure I-9 and compliance documentation accuracy.
  • Support payroll and benefits with data entry.
  • Audit daily timecards for errors or missing punches.
  • Handle employee inquiries and redirect them as appropriate.
  • Follow established recruiting and onboarding processes and documentation standards.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
  • 1–2 years of administrative or HR support experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with HRIS or payroll systems.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
