Work Hours

  • This is a Full-Time position and is 100% onsite
  • Work schedule is typically Monday - Friday and may require the occasional night and weekend based upon hotel functions

Job Requirements

  • Understand the mission, vision, and goals of the hotel
  • Must be able to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision
  • Must possess effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must possess intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, Power Point and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong team player that can partner with management and associates in a professional manner
  • Utilizes an “open door” policy to address associate concerns in a timely manner
  • Move, lift, carry, pull, push and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20lbs periodically
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information

Job Responsibilities

  • Acts as a liaison to associates for Human Resource support, inquiries and resources
  • Supports the onboarding process for hourly positions, ensuring a timely and effective experience
  • In partnership with the HR leadership team supports recruiting, onboarding, HRIS maintenance, benefits, training and enforcing company policies
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Prepares reports and manages correspondence timely and confidentially
  • Organizes and supports associate engagement initiatives and celebrations
  • Organizes and supports community service initiatives
  • Prepares and manages employee files and records to ensure compliance
  • Manage departmental POs
  • Supports a positive work environment by promoting the company’s values and culture
  • Follows all standard operation procedures, and safety standards
  • Adheres to attendance and reliability standards
  • Follows all additional duties as assigned by management

Job Qualifications:

  • Experience in HR, office coordinator or administrative support roles preferred
  • Familiarity with CA employment law and labor relations preferred
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
