Human Resources Coordinator

Job Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator provides essential administrative support to the regional Human Resources and recruitment team. This role assists with onboarding and offboarding employees, maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with hiring requirements, and supporting daily HR operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, professional in communication, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while supporting a mission-driven organization serving at-risk children and families.

Responsibilities

  • Manage employee onboarding processes and ongoing maintenance of files.
  • Verify contract compliance when onboarding and prepare for audits by county and state agencies.
  • Follow up with new hires to ensure completion of new employment documentation prior to starting.
  • Assist walk-in employees and be available to answer questions.
  • Office reception break coverage and act as back up for receptionist during vacation/sick days.
  • Maintain expiration date records and follow up with employees on expiring documents.
  • Audit and maintain regional employee files.
  • Ensure I-9 forms are complete, accurate and updated as needed.
  • Assist with staff appreciation events as requested.
  • Review Driving Records upon receipt to ensure guidelines have been met.
  • Maintain employee training records and enter trainings into HR database.
  • Process terminations, final pays, and term profile requests.

Qualifications

  • Relevant administrative experience a must.
  • Must demonstrate good organizational skills.
  • Ability to professionally represent company and interact with staff, clients and visitors in a welcoming and appropriate way.
  • Must have solid experience with Outlook, Excel and other Microsoft programs.
  • Must be 21 or older.
  • Maintain criminal record clearance.
  • Must have a philosophy of support for at-risk children and families in line with the mission, vision, values, and statement of faith of Olive Crest.
