We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at a home health and nursing agency. This role is critical in supporting key HR functions, such as caregiver recruitment, compliance, employee relations, and administrative processes. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a passion for improving workplace culture, and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Post job openings, screen resumes, and coordinate interviews for caregiver and administrative roles.
- Conduct interviews and assist in the onboarding process for new hires.
- HR Administration and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate employee records in the state supported system
- Ensure compliance with state and federal employment regulations.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, updates, and inquiries.
- Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and issues, particularly for Spanish-speaking staff.
- Facilitate performance management processes, including evaluations and feedback sessions.
- Workforce Management:
- Oversee scheduling, coordination, and ongoing communication with caregivers.
- Support change management initiatives and foster a collaborative workplace culture.
- Project Management and Reporting:
- Provide project management support for HR initiatives and programs.
- Use tools such as applicant tracking systems to analyze recruitment data and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in human resources, home health, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or any other language is highly preferred to support caregiver communication and engagement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to interact professionally at all organizational levels.
- Knowledge of HR best practices, including recruiting, compliance, and performance management.
- Adaptability to shifting priorities and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
