Job Description

The Michigan Civil Service Commission (MCSC) is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled professional to provide training and development in virtual and in-person settings as well as through asynchronous e-learning. This position will serve in the Office of Human Resource Training and Development. The focus will be internal training for MCSC, teaching specific job-related tasks and skills including software, policy, and procedure. The position will also train on soft skills, such as communication, change management and conflict resolution, for all state employees.

Ideal candidates will have:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience facilitating training for groups of 10 or more
  • Knowledge of training development, including e-learning
  • Experience using software to develop e-learning (i.e., Articulate 365 or Adobe Captivate)
  • Understanding of adult learning principles
