Our client is a global FMCG company. For their growing organization we are looking for;

HR Director

• University degree
• More than 10 years HR experience in an international company
• Manufacturing industry experience is a must
• Start-up / JV experience will be a big plus
• Experienced in system building
• Understanding of Turkish labor law and HR practices
• Fluency in English
• Leadership to drive initiatives independently
• Cross-cultural understanding and flexible communication skills
• Teamwork to facilitate smooth coordination with HQ
• Strong execution skills to build and operate systems

Job Description

• Reporting to Expat General Manager
• Responsible for overseeing the establishment of the local subsidiary and factory in Turkey
• Formulate and execute local HR strategies, leading a wide range of functions including payroll management, system design, recruitment, talent development, and labor management
• Coordinate with the HQ and the global HR team to build an HR framework that complies with local laws
• Design and implement grading systems (job analysis, grading, job responsibility definitions)
• Build evaluation systems (goal management, 360-degree feedback, promotion criteria)
• Design and operate payroll systems, supervise and review monthly payroll calculations
• Handle social insurance and tax matters in compliance with local laws
• Design and operate benefits programs

• Develop recruitment plans, manage contracts and relationships with recruitment agencies
• Manage and optimize assignments and transfers
• Design and implement onboarding programs for new employees
• Introduce leadership training for managers
• Support career development
• Prepare labor contracts and work rules
• Audit compliance with labor and occupational safety laws
• Promote corporate culture
• Handle HR matters for overseas assignees
