Proactive, hands-on HR leader responsible for managing all day-to-day HR operations, supporting a mid-sized regional organization, and improving processes across the organization. Oversees one HR Generalist and serves as the primary HR point of contact, ensuring a compliant, consistent, and people-first employee experience.


Human Resources experience within the Banking or Financial Services industries is required for this role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting and develop effective sourcing and interview processes.
  • Streamline HR operations, policies, documentation, and compliance practices.
  • Provide employee relations support, coaching, conflict resolution, and FMLA/leave administration.
  • Oversee benefits, payroll, and vendor relationships; act as escalation point for HR issues.
  • Drive onboarding/offboarding and help enhance the overall employee lifecycle.


What You Bring

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Strong HR operations background with comfort “wearing many hats” in a small team.
  • Solid knowledge of FMLA and compliance for 50+ employee organizations.
  • Approachable communicator with strong judgment, organization, and process-improvement mindset.
