The Opportunity
Relate Search is partnered with a high-performing real estate organization seeking a strategic and operationally strong Human Resources Business Partner/Director to support its East region functions. This role can be based out of the following cities: Atlanta, Charlotte, or Orlando, and requires significant travel (75%).
This HRBP/Director will serve as the primary HR partner to operations leadership, including a highly engaged VP of Operations. Supporting approximately 230 employees across field operations, this role requires a results-driven business partner who understands the nuances of a non-union, distributed, multi-state workforce and can confidently influence leaders at all levels.
What You’ll Do

Serve as a trusted advisor to operations leadership, aligning workforce strategy with production goals and business performance objectives

Provide healthy pushback and strategic guidance on workforce planning, ensuring staffing decisions reflect operational realities and future growth needs

Lead employee relations efforts, navigating complex situations with fairness, consistency, and a strong understanding of field-based employee groups

Partner closely with leaders to elevate supervisor and manager capability through coaching, development, and accountability

Drive succession planning and talent development initiatives, identifying talent gaps and building future bench strength

Maintain momentum in recruiting and hiring workflows, addressing bottlenecks and ensuring interview processes move efficiently

Leverage workforce data and analytics (turnover, staffing trends, performance metrics) to diagnose challenges and implement solutions

Uphold HR policies and practices that promote equity, compliance, and a high-performance culture

Collaborate cross-functionally with HR team members and operational leaders to ensure initiatives are aligned and executed effectively
What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field with 5+ years of progressive HRBP experience

Demonstrated success partnering and communicating within a distributed, operations-driven environment

Strong employee relations expertise with the ability to mediate, coach, and resolve issues with sound judgment and professionalism

Proven ability to influence senior leaders, provide strategic pushback, and translate business needs into actionable people strategies

Experience with workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development in a field-based organization

Thrives in a “road warrior” environment, with proven ability to build relationships and drive impact across geographically dispersed teams
