A growing food manufacturing company is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead and elevate the HR function. This is a key leadership role partnering closely with the Executive Leadership team to drive both strategic initiatives and day-to-day HR operations.

We’re looking for a hands-on leader who can seamlessly balance execution with strategy, bringing strong business acumen and a practical, solutions-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on all HR-related matters
• Lead and execute HR strategy aligned with business objectives
• Oversee employee relations, ensuring a positive and compliant workplace
• Manage payroll processes and ensure accuracy and compliance
• Ensure full compliance with California labor laws and regulations
• Drive HR initiatives across talent, performance management, and organizational development

Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of progressive HR leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of California labor laws
• Proven experience in employee relations and payroll
• Experience in a manufacturing or similar environment preferred
• Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically
• Strong business acumen and executive presence
