We’re partnering with a well-established organization to hire a
Director of Human Resources
to lead and evolve the company’s HR function. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving strategy across talent, compliance, employee relations, and organizational development.
The right candidate will bring both a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach, with the ability to influence leadership while building scalable HR programs.
Responsibilities:

Lead and implement company-wide HR policies, programs, and initiatives

Oversee full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and retention strategies

Partner with executive leadership on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning

Manage compensation structures, salary benchmarking, and internal equity

Collaborate with finance leadership on payroll, budgeting, and benefits strategy

Oversee employee benefits programs including health, retirement, and wellness initiatives

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Handle complex employee relations matters, investigations, and disciplinary actions

Lead risk management efforts including workers’ compensation, safety programs, and claims

Drive training, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives

Maintain HR systems, reporting, and data integrity across HRIS platforms

Manage HR budget and provide recommendations on staffing and compensation

Serve as a liaison with legal counsel, auditors, and external partners
Qualifications
:

7–10+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibility

Strong background in employee relations, compliance, and organizational development

Experience managing HR teams within a complex or multi-department organization

Deep knowledge of employment laws, benefits administration, and HR best practices

Experience with HRIS systems and data-driven decision making

Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field

HR certification required (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent); senior-level certification preferred
