Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to manage and oversee various human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping our company culture and ensuring a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Onboarding:
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs and attract top talent.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future roles.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding to ensure a seamless transition for employees.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement:
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • HR Compliance & Policies:
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies.
  • Maintain and update employee records, handbooks, and HR policies.
  • Benefits & Payroll Support:
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, PTO, and retirement plans.
  • Assist in payroll processing and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Performance Management & Training:
  • Support performance evaluation processes and provide guidance to managers on employee development.
  • Organize training programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in the financial services or business funding industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency in HR software, preferable Paychex, and G-Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
