We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to manage and oversee various human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping our company culture and ensuring a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
- Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs and attract top talent.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future roles.
- Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding to ensure a seamless transition for employees.
- Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- HR Compliance & Policies:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies.
- Maintain and update employee records, handbooks, and HR policies.
- Benefits & Payroll Support:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, PTO, and retirement plans.
- Assist in payroll processing and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Performance Management & Training:
- Support performance evaluation processes and provide guidance to managers on employee development.
- Organize training programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in the financial services or business funding industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance regulations.
- Proficiency in HR software, preferable Paychex, and G-Suite
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
