We’re seeking an experienced HR Generalist/Recruiter to help us continue building a strong, high-performing team that supports our mission of justice and client care.

Position Overview

The HR Generalist/Recruiter will handle all aspects of the employee lifecycle — including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee relations. The ideal candidate is an experienced HR professional with a strong background in personal injury law or legal recruiting who can operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

This is not an entry-level role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for attorneys, case managers, legal assistants, and support staff
  • Write and post job listings on recruiting platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Screen candidates, schedule and conduct interviews, and coordinate with department heads
  • Oversee onboarding and orientation processes for new hires
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment laws
  • Support payroll coordination and employee documentation
  • Handle employee relations and HR matters with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Implement and uphold firm policies while promoting a positive, team-oriented workplace

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of HR generalist and recruiting experience (PI law firm experience strongly preferred)
  • Thorough understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with HR systems and recruiting platforms
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a deadline-driven environment
  • Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality

Compensation and Work Environment

  • Pay: $20 – $30 per hour (commensurate with experience)
  • Schedule: Full-time, in-office only
  • Paid time off and holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
