Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role is essential in supporting various HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in HRIS systems, strategic planning, and change management, contributing to the overall effectiveness of our human resources department.

Duties

  • Manage employee orientation and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Maintain and update the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) for accurate employee data management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of affirmative action plans to promote diversity and inclusion within the organization.
  • Provide support in strategic planning initiatives related to workforce development and organizational growth.
  • Ensure compliance with employment labor laws and regulations, advising management on necessary actions.
  • Facilitate change management processes to enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
  • Conduct data entry tasks related to employee records, benefits administration, and payroll processing using systems such as UltiPro, Ceridian, and ADP.
  • Collaborate with management to address employee relations issues and improve workplace dynamics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role with a comprehensive understanding of HR practices.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., UltiPro, Ceridian) and data entry processes.
  • Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and affirmative action planning.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and change management initiatives.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HR software is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20,000.00 - $24,000.00 per year
