Our client in Southwest Houston is looking for a Human Resources Generalist who’s ready to make an impact across employee relations, compliance, and organizational development.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with managers and staff to support all areas of the employee lifecycle — from onboarding and benefits to training and engagement. You’ll also play a key role in maintaining HR data integrity, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and driving initiatives that foster a positive, high-performing workplace culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted HR partner, providing guidance on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Support daily HR operations including employee relations, recruiting coordination, performance management, and compliance.
  • Manage onboarding, orientation, and benefits administration for new hires and internal transfers.
  • Assist with HR data reporting and analytics through Workday and other systems.
  • Contribute to employee engagement and retention strategies, including surveys, interviews, and development initiatives.
  • Coordinate expatriate program logistics and maintain accurate HR dashboards.
  • Stay informed on evolving HR regulations, trends, and technology to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of professional HR experience in a generalist or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms — Workday preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance, employee relations, and data analytics.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort working in a hybrid environment.
