On-Site Travel: As-needed travel to Sacramento, Stockton, Norwalk, Fresno, & Reno

Please Note: This is a fully on-site position based at our Concord, CA office . It is not a remote or hybrid role and requires a reliable daily commute.

Your Role & Impact

As our Concord-based HR Generalist, you will be a key partner to the HR Director and the face of HR for multiple locations. You'll be the go-to expert for everything from employee relations and recruitment to benefits and development, making a tangible impact on our business and our people.

While your home base is the Concord office, you'll travel as needed to provide direct, on-the-ground support to our valued employees and managers at our other sites.

How You'll Make a Difference
  • Champion Our Talent: Own the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering with hiring managers to find and attract the best people for our employee-owned culture.

  • Nurture Our Culture: Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations. You'll provide guidance, conduct investigations with empathy, and empower managers to lead effectively.

  • Deliver Exceptional Benefits: Manage our incredible benefits program (including 100% paid employee medical!) from enrollment to issue resolution.

  • Drive Growth & Development: Welcome new hires with engaging orientations and help identify and implement training opportunities that empower our employees to grow.

  • Ensure We're Always on Point: Keep us ahead of the curve by maintaining compliance with federal, California, and Nevada employment laws.

  • Support Key HR Initiatives: Play an active role in performance management, policy implementation, and other special projects.

What You Bring to the Table
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience as an HR Generalist, ideally with experience supporting employees across multiple sites.

  • HR Expertise: A strong understanding of core HR functions and a solid working knowledge of California and Nevada employment law (FMLA, EEO, FLSA, etc.). A Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is a plus.

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and hands-on experience with HRIS platforms.

  • Exceptional Communicator: You can build trust and rapport at all levels and handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion.

  • Master Organizer: You excel at juggling multiple priorities and have a keen eye for detail.

  • Ready to Travel: You have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation , and are ready to travel as needed to our sites in Sacramento, Stockton, Norwalk, Fresno, and Reno.
