Assistant Manager Human Resources

JOB LOCATION: Karachi

We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our team at DP World Logistics-Freight Forwarding, Karachi. As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in managing daily HR operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting people-focused initiatives that enhance employee experience and organizational performance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Your role will include managing day-to-day HR operations and supporting the implementation of HR policies and initiatives that promote a positive employee experience and organizational effectiveness.

• Manage recruitment processes including job postings, screening, and coordination with hiring managers.
• Manage employee attendance and ensure timely record updates.
• Support onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
• Maintain HR records and ensure data accuracy.
• Support performance management processes and training initiatives.
• Assist in payroll coordination and benefits administration.
• Ensure compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with different departments to implement HR programs and initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Qualifications & Requirements:

• MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
• Good understanding of HR functions including recruitment, performance management, and payroll.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR information systems.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
